I stay rockin' my Nikes, I love these joints. From the style 2 the color, I thought they were so dope, I just had 2 have them, even tho I ended up having 2 borrow the money from my cuzz lol. Dont worry I paid him back. -_- Idk what exactly got me into the hightop movement, before these I was good with my Top 10's, but the wear & tear started taking its toll. I think Kanye & Jay's recent styles are what prolly made me switch it up, but its a good look for me tho, wouldnt you agree? :P Just a small taste of ya boy's delicious swag. (Get the food metaphor?) A Phantom Menace Morning

Good Morning!! *Kanye voice* What a great start 2 mine..Outta nowhere I decided 2 re-watch Star Wars: Episode I aka "The Phantom Menace" while eating some bfast & enjoying a hot cup of Dunkin D's coffee (extra cream, extra sugar lol) & it was everything I thought it would be. Ask anybody that really knows me, & they'll tell you my biggest vice is prolly eating while watching a movie or TV, it's been this way since the sonogram, ok thats forcing it but you know what I'm saying, haha..But anyway, this is a good ass movie. Some might say it's on the "kiddie" side, which is kinda true, but there's also some darker moments 2 this film, mostly the shit pertaining 2 the "Jedi" biz. Darth Maul (the villain with the tatted up face) is a bad ass muthafucka lol. He doesn't say shit barely, just kills at will. Also, Qui-Gon Jinn (played by the great Liam Neeson, who also plays Ra's al Ghul in "Batman Begins") is one of my favorite characters in the SW universe, even tho you know what happens 2 him at the end. :/ All in all, this movie is a great start 2 the trilogy, it ends on an uplifting note, something you don't really see again until Episode IV, cuz the next 2 movies just get darker..Definitely check this movie if you havent already, you dont gotta be a science geek or a nerd 2 get into it. I mean look at me, I'm flyer than a fucking airport & I BEEN into Star Wars, lol. This shit's craaazy...1

Why Jay-Z Swag?

I was reading an article the other day which featured rapper Joe Budden. He said something like when you say the word "SWAG" you need to also say "no homo" after cuz your basically admitting you like another dude's style. Joe Budden is cool or whatever, but I gotta disagree with that. To me, swag doesnt necessarily have 2 do with a person's looks or style. Swagger is a confidence about yourself, and the way you carry yourself. It's an attitude. Also, it doesnt mean your cocky or conceited either, even tho it might come off that way. Swag isnt even necessarily a Hip-Hop term, it dates back awhile. You can look at sports for example, a team that carries themselves the right way and plays with confidence has swagger, get it? And just like confidence, swag is something that doesnt always stay constant, it can go up or down at any time. When your feeling down on yourself, your swag is low. But when your feeling great about yourself, and nobody can tell you shit, that means you got your swagger back where it belongs. Everybody should have a high level of swag, its not even about how cool you are or how you dress, those are just things that can improve your swag. Take me for example, right now I got on some navy blue Nike gym shorts & the same black tee I fell asleep in last night, far from fashionable..But I feel the same way I would when I dress like in my profile pic, digg me? But anyway, for those of you wondering, that is my definition of swagger & the reason why I named my BlogSpot "Jay-Z Swag" is because Hov is someone with extraordinary swag, you can tell it in his voice & by what he's accomplished. He's no male model & he definitely didnt grow up rich, but goddamn that dude's got crazy swag. Alrite then, so everybody do your thing, stay up & get ya swagger right!! Peace. :)
